Every conversation, captioned.
Real-time captions for every call and every conversation. An AI-powered, FCC-certified app for people with hearing loss, free to eligible users and built by someone who has been deaf since age two.
How it works
Rogervoice captions your phone calls as they happen, right on your iPhone or Android. It also captions in-person conversations: set your phone on the table and read what’s said around you. FCC-certified captioned calls are free for eligible users, and in-person captioning is free. No new equipment or prescription is needed, and setup takes about five minutes.
What you get
- Every call, captioned: Real-time captions on all your incoming and outgoing calls, on the phone you already have, with the number you already use
- In-person captions too: At the doctor’s office, in class, in meetings or around the dinner table
- Lips and captions together: Video calls with other Rogervoice users show captions while you read lips
- Nothing gets lost: Searchable transcripts are saved after every call, and your voicemails are transcribed too
- Reply your way: Speak or type your answer, and choose the caption size and color you like
- Your language, covered: Call captions in 100+ languages on iOS and Android. In-person captions in 45 languages on iOS and 15 on Android
- Works with your gear: Hearing aids, cochlear implants and Bluetooth headsets
- Free and private: Free for eligible users, with no ads, and your data is never sold
Private by design
AI-only captioning: no human operator ever listens to your calls. No ads, your data is never sold, and Rogervoice is GDPR-compliant.
Built by one of us, for all of us
Olivier Jeannel, deaf since age two, built Rogervoice in 2014 because he needed it himself. “I want people to think of it as cool as using your iPhone, not be shy about it.”
